Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Expert El Monte Insulation Services handles the information you share with us through our website, by phone or by email. We're an insulation contractor in El Monte, CA, and we collect only what we need to answer your questions, give you an estimate and do the work on your house.

It applies to every page of our site, starting with the home page. If you'd like to know more about who we are before you reach out, our about page covers that.

Information you give us

When you fill out our estimate form, call us or email us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and details about the job, like which rooms run hot or what's in your attic now. You may also send photos if you choose to.

Our contact form is hosted by an outside form service, so what you type into it passes through that service before it reaches us. We use it only to receive your request.

You decide what to share. If you leave something out, we may need to ask for it before we can schedule an estimate.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours may use cookies and analytics tools. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can work properly and remember basic settings.

These tools can record general information such as your browser type, device, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the site that sent you to us. We look at this in summary form to see which pages help people and which need work, not to identify you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site should still work, though some features may not behave as expected.

How we use your information

We use what you give us to reply to you, set up and carry out your estimate, schedule and complete the job, send invoices and follow up on the work. We may also use it to keep records of past jobs at your address, which helps if you call us again later.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the business, such as our form, email and website services, and only as much as they need to do that work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to handle your request, finish your job and keep the business and tax records the law expects us to keep.

Once we no longer need it for those reasons, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. If you only asked a question and never booked a job, we don't hold on to your details longer than we need to answer it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we're required to keep certain records, and if so we'll tell you why.

You can also ask us to stop contacting you about anything other than a job that's already underway. California residents may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we'll honor those requests too.

To make any of these requests, use the details in the last section of this page. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we don't hand your information to the wrong person.

How we protect your information

We limit who can see your information to the people who need it to serve you, and we use reputable services to receive and store it.

No website or email system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent online will never be intercepted. If you'd rather not send something sensitive through the form, call us instead.

Children's privacy

Our site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or building. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.

Questions or privacy concerns

If you have a question about this policy, want to make a request about your information or think we've mishandled something, please tell us. You can reach us through our contact page or call (626) 416-2112, Monday through Sunday, 6 AM to 11 PM.

We respond within 1 business day, and we'll work with you until the concern is resolved.
